The Thai language has 44 Thai consonants symbols in the Thai
alphabet which produce 21 initial consonant sounds, 8 final (ending) consonant
sounds, and 5 tones. There are 24
low-class consonants, 9 middle-class consonants, and 11 high-class
consonants. This language has 2
characters which we don’t use anymore but we still count them as part of our
alphabets. We are talking about āļ (kaw kuat) and āļ
(kaw kon). But we use it in the Balinese language. And we have Thai numbers as well.
