Thai Language |
The Thai language has 44 Thai consonants symbols in the Thai
alphabet which produce 21 initial consonant sounds, 8 final (ending) consonant
sounds, and 5 tones. There are 24
low-class consonants, 9 middle-class consonants, and 11 high-class
consonants. This language has 2
characters which we don’t use anymore but we still count them as part of our
alphabets. We are talking about ฃ (kaw kuat) and ฅ (kaw kon). But we use it in the Balinese language. And we have Thai numbers as well.
